Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology

The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology of Holly Area Schools is committed to ensuring that every student is provided access to high quality, rigorous, and effective instruction. áThis is accomplished through a focus on best instructional practices and differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of each learner.

á

Our curriculum is aligned with the State and National Standards. áAll of our schools follow the same curriculum at each grade level. áEvery Holly Area Schools building has met the stringent requirements for North Central Accreditation and we have currently been approved as a candidate for systems (district wide) accreditation.

á

Beginning in the spring and fall of 2014, our department has set some very aggressive and ambitious goals. áThe new strategies and initiatives supporting these goals include

  • a uniform school improvement process,

  • a new and improved teacher evaluation system,

  • an administrative professional learning community,

  • a new structure to our teacher PLC teams,

  • a new elementary schedule structure, and

  • a new focus on department advisors at all levels.

á

Among all our many powerful initiatives, we are very excited to share information with our parents and community about the collaborative work of our teachers that is centered on organizing the Holly Area Schools curriculum in a single location with a consistent format. áPlease go to the following this link to learn more about our HAS Atlas K - 12 Curriculum Map. á
